Weekend Shot: NBK's Free Patchi Chocolates
4.06.2008
We went out yesterday to deposit the google cheque I received from this blog. While we are in a que, a generous kabayan approach us and gave these patchi chocolates to my son. You can also find chocolate in banks! :)
Let me give you a short description about patchi chocolate I got from their site:
Ever since its establishment in 1974, the Patchi brand has been synonymous with superior quality chocolate and exquisite chocolate designs. Only the finest imported raw material is used in the making of a Patchi piece of chocolate. This devotion to quality dictates that Patchi chocolates contain no preservatives, no artificial flavors, no vegetable oil, but only cocoa butter making its name the reference for fine chocolates.
I grab one and it taste good, but what I love here is the chocolates' presentation. The reason why I use it in my snapshot entry.
Do you want some? here grab one... have a nice day to all.

OFW Advisory: New OEC Policy
4.01.2008
I just want to share this important new rule of Overseas Employment Certificates (OEC) effective since March 24. We don't need to wait for a long que in LAC to validate our OEC. We can now present the OEC directly to airline counters, terminal fee counters and the Bureau of Immigration counters for validation.
The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration is dropping the validation of documents of OFWs leaving through its labor assistance counters (LAC) at international airports to further streamline processes in the deployment of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).
Starting March 24, 2008, departing OFWs shall present the exit clearance or overseas employment certificate issued by the POEA directly to the airline counters, terminal fee counters, and the Bureau of Immigration counters.
The POEA labor assistance counter shall remain open 24/7, but its services shall be limited to assisting OFWs with documentation problems, issuing overseas employment certificates (OEC) to OFWs leaving the country within 24 hours, and dissemination of information and education materials to OFWs and families. The world's largest, rarest and most exotic domestic cat
3.30.2008
I come across with a very interesting article in Rianne's blog featuring the most expensive cat breed of the world - Ashera - that will surely astonish cat lovers around the globe.
Meet the Ashera Cat, the most expensive pet cat on the market (priced at $28,000). The world's largest, rarest and most exotic domestic cat is as as big as a small dog and ey-catching leopard like spots and tiger stripes. Ashera is a result of cross breeding two wild cats (the African serval and the Asian leopard cat) with one type of domestic cat. It stand more than 1m tall and grow to a maximum weight of 30 lb.
Why does the Ashera cost that much? Read the rest of the story here and let us know if it justifies their price.
